Chrystal Buckrham is an ASHA accredited Speech-Language Pathologist who has been a practicing therapist since 2006. A former resident of Raleigh, North Carolina, Chrystal attended and graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology. She furthered her studies at North Carolina Central University where she acquired a Masters of Arts in Communication Disorders.

 As a speech therapist, Chrystal has worked in various settings and diverse states including Prince George’s County, Maryland; Los Angeles, California; and Killeen, Texas. At the present, Chrystal practices in the state of North Carolina where her clinical expertise encompasses the pediatric population. 

Currently, Chrystal works within the scholastic setting assisting students in remediating articulation, language processing, auditory processing, cleft palate, apraxia, down syndrome, and stuttering disorders. In addition, she addresses weaknesses associated with Specific Learning Disabilities, Autism, and ESL. 

Heavenly Sounds Speech-Language was developed to provide individualized services with a client-centered approach. Therapeutic sessions are provided on a one-to- one basis with evidenced based strategies to maximize qualitative remediation. 

In conjunction with the Early Intervention Model, Chrystal is an ardent proponent of incorporating family participation within therapeutic sessions. Services are rendered with evidenced-based strategies; yet, reflect a play-based, family-friendly model. 

In her spare time, Chrystal enjoys writing, exploration, engaging in outdoor activities, and utilizing Biblical principles to mentor young women.
